Inserting a picture in messages

Anyone have an idea? Cant see how. No camera icon to click on like in iOS

drag and drops works - but other than that I've haven't see how yet.

There's a photo button in the upper right of a new Compose window that brings up an iPhoto browser. It's next to the Stationary pane.

i think copy and paste works too?
