Other Instagram photos lower resolution on smaller iPhones.

I noticed when looking at photos on my iPhone SE 2020 vs my 8 plus on Instagram the ones on the the bigger phone seem to pull a higher resolution photo from Instagram. Is their any way of having the smaller phone do this by default?
 
Bump. Additionally I am not able to get the higher resolution‘s on the desktop very weird.
