Instagram stories won't play Sound in Silent Mode

I want to confirm I'm not the only one with this issue. I'm on IOS 15 beta 5. When I try to watch Instagram stories in Silent Mode, there is no audio. In IOS 14, videos would start out silent until I pressed the volume up rocker button, at which point audio would play without issue (and I could continue to be in Silent mode). In IOS 15, I cannot get insta stories to play sound unless I manually turn off the silent mode button. And of course, I keep forgetting to turn it back on, which results in untimely, loud notifications.

This is also happening for me in Google Photos when I try to play videos - oddly, if I try to edit a video in Google Photos, the sound works fine. And in Instagram, while this behavior happens with Stories, videos embedded in my Feed play audio just fine when the phone is in Silent Mode.

Are others having this same issue, having to turn off Silent Mode to get Sound on Instagram stories?

This is also happening to me and it is soooo annoying. I hope this will get fixed in the release version

I think you can work around this problem by playing a video in the feed which has audio. After that, stories should also have sound.
