Instagram Taking A Lot Time To Open...

i have an iphone 6 since one year. when I was on ios 10.3.3 instagram was just taking 3 seconds to open.... but since I updated to ios 12, its taking like 10 seconds to open. this is not normal. 12 is so smooth and fast with all others apps on my iphone 6, but I don't know whats happening with instagram.

anyone else having this problem?
I hope the ios 12 GM solve this problem or gimme some more speed.

it could be that instagram its not optimized for ios 12 yet ?

It is a beta. Software is not optimized to run on it yet. Once it publicly releases next month, then by all means, go crazy. Until then?

Welcome to beta testing. When Instagram has a chance to optimise their app for iOS 12 it should be fixed. But if this persists, then make a thread about it. Until then you just have the beta to blame.

Instagram took a while to load on 11.4.1 lately for me FWIW. I'm guessing it's an Instagram thing.

For me Instagram loads in 1-2 seconds. iOS 12 beta 8. iPhone X. I guess it all depends on what other apps are installed.
