I'm flummoxed. Someone here will certainly know the answer.
I bought a used iMac with a new hard drive and a fresh Catalina installation.
Now whenever the iMac is restarted a disk image titled "Install macOS Catalina" appears on the desktop. For the life of me I cannot find its corresponding .dmg file.
I've tried OmniDiskSweeper. EasyFind.
Is it a network disk image?
Guys and gals, how do I stop "Install macOS Catalina" from appearing on the desktop?
