I rarely update my Cydia apps unless there's a problem. The other day though I decided to see if there were updates and there were a bunch, Springtomize 2 included. The new version killed a fairly important aspect for me though. I listen to music all the time so I loved having the ipod controls always be shown first when bringing up the task switcher. But the new version of Springtomize 2 neuters that functionality by only having it show up if music is playing already. It just makes for another step if the music isn't playing.

So I would love to revert to a previous version if at all possible. Is there a way to do this? No, I don't want a hacked version. I bought Springtomize 2. I love it so much I'd easily pay double or triple for the app. But I'm not liking this new version so much.

I think your best bet is to email the dev through Cydia so he can see that you have actually bought the app and hopefully he'll be willing to send you a .deb of the version you want.

Just try this.

Open up the URL of the repository in a web browser. There may be a chance that there is an old deb file of it. Then just install it with iFunBox, SSH, or iFile. If you don't want Cydia bugging you about updating it download the deb file, use dpkg -x to extract it's files and open up DEBIAN/control and edit the version in the file.
