Okay, will these steps work in order to install OS X on an Apple TV 1 directly onto its internal hard drive? (With an external USB storage device)

(I do not have the Apple TV itself, so if I need to input a serial number or something like that I will not be able to continue with that step)

Now if everybody is wondering why I want to do this, well I just want a secondary Mac to use. (Yeah, I know, I know. It's not gonna be as good and the speed is gonna be horrible. I don't really care about the speed since I have the patience)

Steps:

1) Burn OS X Tiger/Leopard disk/ISO to a flash drive/external hard drive (modify ISO if needed to make installer bootable)
2) Plug USB storage device into Apple TV
3) Turn on Apple TV

Now, here's another question. Is there a way to just boot straight into the installer instead of going into the actual Apple TV OS?

Ok, anyway. Let's continue.

4) Open Disk Utility
5) Disk Utility will show up with the Apple TV hard drive (will it actually show up with the internal hard drive from the Apple TV?) and the external USB storage device
6) Erase the internal Apple TV hard drive (possible?)
7) Now exit Disk Utility and then begin to install OS X
8) Select the internal hard drive and continue
9) The install process will begin
10) Done

So is proceeding with these steps possible or do I need to do a few extra steps?

FINAL QUESTION: I heard that there is audio issues, will a HDMI cable work? If not, what can I do to get audio from my Mac/Apple TV?

Thank you! (I am also sorry for the multiple questions I am asking)
