Install PLEX on ATV2 Jailbroken running iOS 5.0?

Hello all. Just wanted to run something by you guys. I recently updated my AppleTV 2 to iOS 5.0 in order to get better playback of my 1080p files (and I should note now, flawless playback so far!). Anyways, I updates to 5.0, then jailbroke with the tethered option, and as of now, I have XBMC which I know HAS been updated to the new iOS 5.0, but after plenty of looking on the PLEX forums, they keep saying it has not been updated. And unfortunately, the guys over there (Tobias mainly) doesn't sound too confident there will be an updated plex for 5.0 any time soon.
So my question is, can I install the "old" Plex on this new iOS 5.0. I know it may not look up to par, but as long as I can see my TV shows and Movies and be able to play them from the ATV2 itself, instead of what I'm doing now: Using Plex app on my iPhone, accessing movie library on my iMac, then playing on iPhone and AirPlaying to the ATV2. So just wondering if this can be done, and what version of Plex I should get in order to make this happen (and if you have any links to step-by-step install this version of Plex on a JBroken ATV2; I'm good at following the directions but no means an expert on this stuff). Thanks guys, hopefully that made sense...

Well, I went ahead and kept researching a bit and WAS able to install it fine. It doesn't have an icon but it does have plenty of settings and even server preferences to choose from. The only problem is I can't find my iMac that has my plea media server information on it. I have tried manually looking for the iMac, in addition to logging in (successfully) to the myPlex account via AppleTV... unfortunately, it never finds the iMac server. Any thoughts or anyone else with similar problem. And full disclosure I 100% realize that this is NOT SUPPORTED on the iOS 5.x software yet, so bugs may be "expected." Thanks

I said "won't run" no " won't install" ...

What you are experiencing is the not "running" part... some people are working on it, they are also waiting for the ATV3 jailbreak (don't ask me why)... keep your eye on the plex and XBMC forums.

I'm running Plex on ATV2 5.0 successfully. My iMac (running Plex server) always shows up, although there are a few bugs: it's quit on me a few times in the middle of playing movies, a mysterious AppleTV server sometimes shows up.

But yes, it does run and work on ATV2.
