Hi everyone ,
Is there any possible way to install Win 7 sp-1 Home premium edition on an iMac late 2015 , and of course , would it work?
Could it be possible or am I hallucinating..?
I have a DVD with Win 7 , 32 or 64-bit ready for a clean install..!
I know that Apple do not support Boot camp assistant för win7 for 2015 iMac's
Has any one tried to install win 7 anyway and made it work?

Kind Regards
Alex

There are articles floating around google from 2015 when this was an issue. Some people, like myself, did get this to work if they had access to drivers but it was a pain the butt. I would recommend just spending the money and getting a Windows 10 EOM disk, OR! Get a Windows 8.1 and using a Disability Access portal to get an upgrade to 10. But If you have software that really needs Windows 7 I'm not sure how to do this.

Hi guys ,
tanks a lot for answering my request.
Yes Win 7 would work with Paralells and other virtual software programs like VMWare , and of course the easiest way would be just to install win 10 using boot camp.. but I am not ready to give up yet!
*What will happen if I’ll install Win 10 first with Boot camp Assistant? then there is a way to do a downgrade / clean install with Win 7 Home premium edition 64-bit while the system i booted in Win 10.
Let's say that it is possible to trick the system to install Win 7 this way .. but will it work without the "proper" drivers??

It is likely that Windows 7 will not boot. Starting in 2015, Macs no longer have the BIOS emulation within their EFI. While Windows 7 supports EFI booting, it is not compatible with the EFI in Macs and will not boot because of that.

Thanks Intell ,
..yes , I do think you are more than right. Win 7 will not boot!
I have to give up to somehow force Win 7 on my iMac , and use Win 10 instead , or sell my iMac and buy an older compatible model..
Any way , the question is still open..

Use a "virtual machine" solution.
If it can work for your usage, probably considerably less trouble than BootCamp.
