Install wow to external drive

Hi

Will WOW install and run from an external usb 2 drive ?
Would that drive be interchangeable between Tiger and Leopard systems ?

Really would not do this.

Performance would be down the toilet.

Buy a big external FW drive , move your iTunes folder/ pictures/ movies on to that and with the new space install WOW.

I would not use a usb 2.0 drive, but a firewire 800 drive would be fine. I run all my games off a WD MyBook Pro in bootcamp. TF2, HL2, Trackmania, etc.. all run great which virtually no performance hit.
