Hello,

While installing XP SP2 through the Windows Setup on the MacBook, I get an error whenever it's trying to load the Windows Setup saying "the pci.sys file is corrupted, press enter to restart your computer". I can't load back to my Mac OS X, even whenever I eject the CD and restart; it just goes straight back to the Windows Setup.

My question is:

What do I need to do to get this installation to work and remove the pci.sys file is corrupted error / how do i fix the pci.sys file so that the installation can continue and will work?

Kind Regards,
Brandon

UPDATE:

I've figured out I no longer want to install XP SP2 and I am still in the bind up above. How do I go back to my Mac OS X just the way it was before I started to install XP SP2 with Boot Camp (e.g. everything in place -- files, information, programs, etc.)?

PLEASE HELP!!!

That's odd. I installed Windows XP on the MacBook at work the other day and while installing the drivers from BootCamp after the Windows installation the computer just totally switched off in the middle of the installation. After that Windows wouldn't boot anymore with the same error you quoted above.

I had none of these problems when I installed Windows on my MBP.
