I've been stuck at 7 minutes for 20 hours now. This seems...excessive.
I have a rMBP 15, with a Transcend 960GB disk. The disk is pretty full, though most of it is my 600+GB iPhoto library.
Is there a way for me to tell what's going on? I clicked on the OS X Installer/Utilities menu and it's beach-balled for the past 15 minutes.
Any ideas or suggestions would be appreciated. Do any of you have experience with it taking this long & then completing? What's likely to happen if I reboot?
Thanks!
(btw, I realize there's a similar thread for "4 minutes". The advice there seems to be "keep waiting" but this has now been a LONG time and I'd appreciate your ideas).
