Installed 3.0GM, Backup is hanging...

I installed 3.0GM on both by iPod Touch and iPhone 3G last night, and both OS's are working great. I have backed up my iPod, but every time I try to back up my iPhone it hangs and never finishes. I've synced applications and music to both, so iTunes is recognizing it, but I can't get the iPhone to back up.

Any ideas?

My first backup on 3.0GM took forever it seemed like. I actually cancelled and restarted it a few times with a phone reboot in there to try and remedy the problem. Eventually, I just decided to let it run for a while and sure enough it eventually finished.

Same here, I cancelled the backup and it went to syncing. It was taking FOREVER.

Maybe I'll try again tonight.

Many of the times it is the actual applications that cause the problem with backups. It really depends if the apps have there own associated db that can be rather large. Example iScore would cause my phone to take forever to backup when I had line ups saved for just two teams.
