Installed the emojj app. Deleted it and it still remains in the keyboard

emoji is native to the iPhone. All that the emoji app does is to enable it, since it is not enabled by default on iPhones on the Western side of the world. If you want to disable go to settings - General - Keyboard and uncheck it.
