Hello everyone. Installed Windows 10 on an external SSD Samsung T7 according to the instructions iMac 2020
. Everything worked and very well, except for Bluetooth. There is no Bluetooth in the device Manager. Windows says that there is no built in Bluetooth and offers to use an external adapter))) When I put Windows on the internal SSD via Bootcamp, everything worked and everything is there. Can anyone have any ideas how to install Bluetooth?

Nice. I’ve been trying to do this with an external TB3 drive/enclosure without luck. VMware does not support tb3 pass through when I connect the drive. Tried a guide that does not use VMware and got farther but windows fails to find the boot drive when the installer tries to boot from the drive the first time. I read it’s an issue with windows not having the tb3 drivers available or activated or loaded or something when it boots. Anyway , wondering if anyone else has been successful with an external tb3 drive (not usb)

Thunderbolt drives are recognized as PCIe devices and you can install Windows on them in a standard way, like on a regular PC. You just need to download and install the BootCamp drivers. Everything works checked by me last week.

Using the instruction on this link (https://apple.stackexchange.com/que...-process-on-external-ssd-runnin/384447#384447) I managed to install Windows 10 on an external SSD drive. Everything else works except that I cannot install Bootcamp Support Software. I created a USB drive as per the instruction on the Apple Bootcamp Support page, downloaded the software package via Bootcamp Assistant but when I boot into Windows and click on Boot camp setup.exe it just sits there for hours. The message says "enumerating pre-installed package". I can't even cancel the process. I have to power off my iMac to stop whatever it is trying to do!
