Hello,

I just finished installing Windows 7 on my unibody Macbook Pro. I then installed the Boot Camp 2.1 drivers under Windows 7. Is there anything that I am missing so that I can optimize performance under boot camp? Any graphics drivers or such that I am missing?

Also, I allocated 80gb to this partition as I plan to install a couple of games and such. I still have 355gb available under leopard so there is no worry at all that I have for space.

My Windows Expierience Rating was a 5.3 with the graphics being the limiter. Does that sound normal?

Sorry for all the dumb questions, I'm just a noob to this whole windows on a mac thing. Thanks for your help!

That sounds about right. I installed Windows 7 yesterday on my 2009 15" MacBook Pro and got similar results. :)

Perhaps you could help me out as we have similar hardware. I cannot get Skype (a popular VoIP client) to listen to my built in microphone under the left speaker grill. It works fine with sound recorder in Windows, but Skype cannot get any sound from the device. If you could try a Skype test call within Windows 7, I would greatly appreciate it!

Use latest Windows 7 graphics driver from Nvidia's site. You don't have to use Apple's drivers for a some of the hardware in a MBP.

Just remember that all Windows 7 graphics drivers at the moment are betas.
