installer app

i've been trawling the web for hours looking for a definitive way to get installer on my iphone, its got 1.1.2 firmware and is unlocked, its brand new and the previous owner says its jail broken. do i need to downgrade the firmware and if so where can i get it.

I would restore it to 1.1.4 and use Ziphone.

Thank god that 2.0 won't work with ZiPhone so you guys all have to use a SAFE method from then on!
