Installer packages randomly quitting?

OK, I'm trying to install 2 games onto my Powerpc G5 iMac (iSight)...

Only, after I enter the serial number, the installer package crashes. Re-open, and it does the same thing over and over...

I would say to reboot the computer after it crashes the first time. If it doesn't work, then I would assume there is a conflict with another program that is currently running or a program file saved in a folder where the game will be installed.

Some Mac installers for games (like Unreal Tournament 2004) have problems - the updated installer (that doesn't crash) is usually available from the publisher's website.

Also, if your hard drive is formatted HFS+ Journaled and Case-Sensitive, you might encounter those problems (although, i've only seen it with one person so far having trouble installing Adobe Creative Suite 2)
