I have been using 'Installer' on my iPhone for a while now but I updated my sources this morning and it came up with 8 updates.

I updated these and now Installer still says I have 7 'updates' to install. When I look at these, they are actually downgrades e.g. it is showing Ringtones version 2.86 when I already have 2.87 installed.

How do I stop this happening?

It's because you have sources that have lower versions of the apps you have.

This is because more than one source has the app and whenever there is a different version on a different source it notes it as an upgrade.

You need to remove that stupid source :)

thanks for the tip domness, I have been experiencing the same problem. Sorry if this a stupid question, but how can i tell which sources these outdated apps are associated with to then remove?? With touchpad pro they were nice enough to say which source to remove as touchpad had moved over to bosstools prefs I believe.

Thanks for anymore help with this.

Cheers,

OK, so i have sorted it out but I had to delete MCI Local Repo Site. This source has some awesome apps so I want it back!!

How can I get it back without getting the duplicate apps???
