Does anybody use this? I downloaded it and I can't seem to get it to work. I don't understand what I'm doing wrong. I have cydia, not installer.app but it says that it works with both.

Did you pay the necessary $7 fee before you can properly use any of it's functions?

Installer is dead. Don't use it. Use cydia. Icy is trying to gain popularity currently, I'm excited to see where it goes.

I'm pretty sure they're talking about InstallerApp, a recently released computer program made by the same people as the installer.app for jailbroken phones - basically it lets you manage your apps via a computer. It's apparently supposed to work with Cydia for some functions as well.

The really craptacular part, despite the fact it's pretty much RipDev trying to promote Installer, is that they charge you to use it.

yeah i paid the $7 i just can't get it to work.

i turn it off, i hold the power and home button i let go of the power button and then it gets to hold home button for 1 second and it doesn't move until finally it says "installing applications" and that's it. it wont go anywhere else!

i'm getting so frustrated!! urgh! i want to back up my phone because it's acting up and i want to restore it and not lose my jailbroken applications.

oh and i figured it out!!! i'm using 10.5.6 or something on my macbook and if you're using that os you need to connect the iphone to a usb hub.. hahahahahaha... i kept reading that thinking wtf is a usb hub and then i realized what it was and it worked. sooo in case anybody is trying to use it.. connect your iphone to a usb hub.

I couldn't figure out why my phone wasn't going into DFU mode until i emailed them... and that's what they told me.
