Installing 10.10 PB4 on Macair

Hi,

I enrolled in the riginal Public Beta program and installed it on my iMac. Noww I'd like to install it on my Macair but Apple says my code is already redeemed. Are we only allowed to install it on one machine or there a file on the iMac that I could copy over?

If you make a bootable usb you can use it to install onto as many computers as you like without having to redownload each time: https://forums.macrumors.com/threads/1757723/

If you have lost the installer though, you may still have to redownload it from the purchases tab in your mac app store.

Just check first if you still have it in your Applications folder. It is called Install OS X Yosemite Beta.app

If you just run the app to install, it deletes itself.

Thanks for the speedy reply tywebb13. Worked out great. I downloaded the installer onto a USB drive from the 'purchased' section and used that to copy on to the MacAir so now I can re-do the install if I need to.
