Help me please. I have just installed an airport card into my early 2009 Mac Pro as it was cheaper than installing ethernet to where my computer is. It IS working but has poor reception. The airport card i purchased has 3 pins labelled 0,1 and 2. The Mac has 3 cables labelled 1,2 and 3. I have connected cable 3 to pin 0, cable 1 to pin 1 and cable 2 to pin 2. It takes for ever to hook them up. Have I done it right? Almost every resource on the internet references the earlier 2 pin airport card. All help would be appreciated, cheers Jim

If it is working you are hooked up right.

However the Mac Pro is a big, thick metal box and position of the router may make a difference. Try different positions of the router relative to the computer to see if signal strength varies.
