I installed a new xfx 6870 into my mac pro so that I could use it for windows under bootcamp. Everything is fine, it installs great and runs perfectly. Yet the moment I boot into my osx under my other card (which runs great) the system then will not see the 6870 when I return into windows. It only recognizes the mac card. I tried to disable the mac card under windows, and yet same thing. Anyone come across this problem?

Is your monitor connected to the PC card when you boot into Windows? It should use the GPU that has a monitor connected to it.

Yes

When I boot into windows, the monitor is connected, but when into windows, it says ati card not recognized... That is only after I go into Mac OSX with my mac card. Then I try to come back to windows using my pc card. That is when I get the error. I don't get it when I install the pc driver for the ati. If I never go into mac osx, then I am good to go. The moment I switch over once...Boom, failure.
