Hi all,
So I have a Mac Pro 5,1 and just got a free nVidia Quadro FX 5600 video card for it and want to install it. It did not come with the proper cables to install it. It's a 100% Mac compatible card, I have no idea what connectors I need for this thing, can anyone link me to the right one?. I tried looking on Google but cant really find anything, I want to be sure to know exactly what I need so when I order it, it will work. Thanks in advance for any help. I know my machine is old but I want to install Mojave which is fully supported by this machine.

This card is from 2008 and works up to High Sierra, incompatible with Mojave since it's not a METAL supported GPU.

You need two 6-pin mini-PCIe to standard PCIe power cables, if you really want to try it. Same 2 cables of an Apple OEM HD 5870. If your Mac Pro have a HD 5770, you already have one cable from the factory.

Thanks for the details. I guess I'll have to look for another card on eBaY or something. Wish me luck.
