Installing all your applications on the mac partition

Just got a new MBP, after my old one died...

Now, I plan on getting Win7. However I don't want to give too much space to it. Can I just install all the games and stuff and copy them to the mac partition and read them using macdrive or the HFS+ read drivers?

Or can I even put it into an external HD and run it from there? I imagine it would be slow though...

Think about it, if you're using the space on the win partition or the mac partition makes no difference in the total space used. Just make the partition bigger, or get a bigger drive.

Okay...I hope you'll understand this. I see my entire "windows partition" as "used" space. And when I make a partition a certain size in windows, if I don't use every bit of that space, it's wasted as I can't use it for my mac partition either.

If I install them on my mac partition, when I delete something I immediately get my free space back.

Unless there's a sure way to resize my windows partition on the fly...

snow leopard can at least see the windows side of things reportedly.. so you should be able to at least store some stuff on the windows side. i have not much practical experience with bootcamping, though.. trying to ge ti ti started right now myself.
