In preparation for 6.1.3 I am getting my definitive list of tweaks that I want and only those that I want and then plan on doing a final restore and jb then put my stuff on and leave it alone...this got me wondering...does it slow down the phone or hurt it in any way to install a bunch of tweaks then uninstall them and try new stuff out etc...ive had a ton of stuff on my phone and have wasted a bunch of cash to try this stuff out...i own virtually all of the paid apps...but i always come back to my favorite 5 or 6....

Yesterday, I did exactly what it is you are doing. Fresh restore/jailbreak and now leave it alone.

In times past, sure enough I'd add some (lame) tweak that buggered up my iPhone to a point of needing a restore, thus my jailbreak was gone.

Not this time!

May I also inquire as to your go-to five or six Cydia tweaks/app are?

I kind of did that, i installed a tweak that messed up my LTE, i ended up restoring and re JB.

I now only have what i know i use, only still waiting on Gridlock.

JB Apps (tweaks) I have.
Action menu & Action Menu Plus Pack
Activator
AskToCall

I have,
1- Tetherme
Have paid for MyWi in the past, but really prefer tetherme as it is the closest in stock appeal.

2- ResetAllKiller
Just to prevent mistakes from happening!

3- SoftwareUpdateKiller
Same thing.

4- 2X2 Folder Icons
Sure makes folders more attractive.

5- %Hook's Law
Just for fun, but really miss it when I forget to add it back after a restore!

6- No Lockscreen Camera and, NoNewsIsGoodNews along with, bolt
Dresses up the homescreen a bit without the need for Springtomize or Winterboard.

7- CameraTweak
Able to dump a few camera apps as this one does nearly it all. (Couple this with Pro HDR found in the iTunes app store and my camera needs are totally set.)

8- BiteSMS

9- AskToCall
No more accidents in calling when I didn't mean to.

That's really it.
Nothing, fingers-crossed to upset my iPhone5 into needing a restore in the future.

Mine are (actually more than 5 or 6 lol)

BiteSMS
FolderEnhancer
F.lux (probably my fave)
3GUnrestricter
MyWi
KillBackground
NCSettings
Nitrous
PandoraSkips
Resetall Killer
RespringCasheFix
Software Update Killer
Torch
WeatherIcon 6

some of those are very low overhead tweaks that keep things in order...With this current combo I have everything I wish were in stock iOS and everything is running smooth....I "plan" on leaving it alone now!
