Hi,
I'm not gonna argue over which phone OS is the best. But the iPhone 3G is now a legacy phone, no longer supported, old, slow etc. etc.
It is of course possible to put iDroid on there, give it a new lease of life and "rejuvenate" it with a fresh coat of OS paint. This is pretty nifty, sort of.
If an old iPhone 3G is slow and can barely run any of the new bigger updated apps designed for the newer phones; let alone dual boot another OS. Is there a way to Completely remove the iOS and put on a fresh version of android?
I mean since the phone is unsupported now and no longer good enough that it has been cast away and stopped from receiving updates etc. It's only fair to celebrate the capabilities of the Device by giving it a new life?
Any info/tips/advice would be great, I tried to google this but had no luck; I am pretty lazy.
A friend of mine has an old iPhone 3G and is giving it to me to tinker with; she has an iPhone 4S now
