I just unlocked my 1.1.1 phone with iNdependence (that I just bought yesterday). Is there a way to manually install AppTapp?

I too would like to know how to get installer on my iPhone...I used iNdependence to jailbreak but I don't know how to get installer on my phone now that it is upgraded again to 1.1.1 (although according to iNdependence it is still jailbroken)...any suggestions?

You guys have to download the installer.app, then in finder, right click and choose show content. And inside you will find the .app file, where you use iNdependence to upload to your iPhone..

I know I COULD do that to install it, but Nullriver says not to install it on 1.1.1 iPhones right now.

@Ronnoco, carfac: do you have firmware 1.1.1?

the nullriver homepage says that there actual version ist just for firmware 1.0, 1.0.1 and 1.0.2.

has anyone done this with an unlocked, jailbroken 1.1.1 iphone?

Yeah, I ended up buckling down and just downloading the package, though I didn't install it. I right clicked and showed the contents of the package and navigated to Installer.app (or something like that) and moved it to my desktop and then installed it using iNdependence's customize feature. It worked fine. It then updated itself to the 3.x version that is recommended for 1.1.1.

It says on the homepage something about not installing it on 1.1.1 iPhones, but it doesn't say anything about using iNdependence to install just the app, which is exactly what I did and it works fine (as far as I can tell, phone still works, and it installs apps).

Where do you get the AppTapp files?

The home page for AppTapp no longer links to the files you mention. They want 1.1.1 users to go straight to http://jailbreakme.com. I used INdependence to activate/jailbreak/unlock my phone so I am a little leery of using the site to install AppTapp. I would rather install it via INdependence but I can't seem to find the files anywhere...
