Installing Big Sur

I get this error.

delete the installer and re download. they had issues satisfying demand and the likelihood is there is corruption in the pack somewhere.

I had to update Catalina first then I did Big Sur with no issues. The only issue I have is this. When I put my password in the screen flashes black for a milisecond. Is that normal or is there a fix? Thank you for your help
