Installing boot camp updates without a CD?

After installing the 1.2 updates this morning, I was pretty annoyed that I then had to throw away the CD-R I used. Is it possible to install the Boot Camp updates from a USB key?

I couldn't see anything obvious under "Show Package Contents" or from a quick search for "Boot Camp"

It's not too hard, just make sure that you've installed the boot camp assistant that you downloaded so that you have the newest drivers CD, then right-click Boot Camp Assistant and continue with "Show Package Contents".

Then in the folder "Resources" there should be a disk image aptly called "DiskImage.dmg". This is the drivers CD, but you can't just mount this file with Daemon Tools in Windows. You'll need to convert it to an .iso file first. (http://www.macosxhints.com/article.php?story=20040121135301830)

Then you can just delete the extra .cdr extension and mount the image in Windows, saving yourself the spare CD.

I was actually facing a differnt problem, but you kinda solved it too I have a 3 partition setup on my Macbook with a FAT32 partition in between and Vista on the third one. Now the new BootCamp Assistant wouldn't even start, saying that my partitioning hadn't been done using BootCamp. That was clear to me, however I just wanted to burn the new drivers CD. With your hint I just burnt it manually!
