I'm trying to install windows on the velocity X2 with samsung EVO 1TB. I have os x on it but want to dual boot windows. In the bootcamp assistant it says please choose a drive that is not part of a raid, so I am not able to make a bootcamp partition on the X2. Anyone know a way around this?

I searched the forum but didn't find anything with the Bootcamp assistant. I was able to install windows on another disk and had none of the booting issues with the X2 installed, but would love to have dual partitions on the X2.

Use a separate SSD connected to the second port on the x2 and stick it on top of the one hosted in the card. I tried everything to get it going on a secondary partition on the 750gb evo and gave up and used a second 500 evo SSD.

Works a treat!

Search for the complete post, but you cannot install windows while the SSD is on the x2. Put the SSD back in a normal slot, run BCA to get windows installed.
