installing Firefox problem

Guys I'm having a problem installing Firefox..For some reason it won't install to the applications (so I can drag it to the dock). All it does is open loadup.. But there's nothing in the applications

So you can't drag it from the install folder to the Applications folder?

Nope..when you open it up you see the firefox install icon and the arrow pointing to Applications folder. When you click on the installer it just opens up the web browser.. But nothing in the Applications folder....

You need to drag and drop - single click and hold on the Firefox icon and move/drag it over to the Applications icon, then let go. That copies it to the right place.

Thanks it worked, as I would have never though of that LOL...

Glad you got it going. It's an old Mac way of installing an application.
