Hello-

I have a MacPro tower OS 10.7.5 and want to install imovie HD onto it.
I get and error and it won't let me.
Is this because the OS is too new?

I have the imovie HD working fine on my macbook with OS 10.6.8 running on it. Should I downgrade the Lion on my MacPro to Snow Leopard?

Thanks.

I get the iLife 06 Install DVD window and a cancel symbol over the "Read Before You Install iLife"

Looks like you might have a DVD for Power PC (PPC) systems. Snow Leopard was the last to support Roseta applications. Does the disk say "Universal" or "PPC" on it? (Look for a logo).

As far as the error goes are you able to double click the installer package and install it? Check for scratches on the disk as a sign of corruption.

If all else fails, you can always get the latest iLife applications on the Mac App Store.

That's a simple file, you can skip reading that. Launch the installer by double clocking on the yellow and brown installer package.

Hi-
Thanks for the help. It won't let me install. It says:
You can't open the application iLife 06 because Power PC application
no longer supported.

And it does have the universal logo on the box.
