Installing iOS 10

Just downloaded iOS 10 from the developer side. Tried to do a restore on an old iPhone 5 and got the following error -

I started a thread about the same error. Apparently you have to update first (restore back to iOS 9 and install the beta profile on the phone, then update to iOS 10. After that you can do restores)
