i just signed up for the public beta and I'm installing it now. Excited to try it out, does it play nice with the Apple Watch?

I didn't back up but I am sure I'll be okay :)

I do love the scroll feature now when you double click the home button to view open apps.

But Apple Watch seems to play nice so far

For the love of all that is holy, public beta testers, please backup your device and archive it in iTunes before you update. Just in case you have to roll back to 8.4
How do you archive it?
I'm currently running Windows 8.1 and I have just one backup I just did for iOS 8.4 on my iPhone5s
Apparently I tried following the directions but the right-clicking on the "right-click and archive" doesn't work for some reason. (is it because I only have one backup that I don't need to archive it?)

I wonder if it's just re-indexing everything on the iPhone causing it to work harder causing battery drain.

I'm also having issues with my battery draining badly on my 6+. Down almost 20% in two hours with minimal use.
There is a lot of background tasks running, including diagnostics and whatnot. This is pretty standard for betas and whatnot. The actual release should take you back to your usual expected battery.

I just installed the iOS9 public beta on my iPhone 6+ yesterday late afternoon, so far I haven't noticed any excessive battery drain as in the previous iOS9 betas. My  Watch is on 1.0.1 and it still communicates well with iPhone.

Seems the battery may be taking a little longer to charge but I havent had a full charge since upgrading so in a few hours once Im at 100% I can get a better idea of battery life, but if more items run in the background like mentioned above, I will not worry about extra battery draining as long as it still gets me through the day.

I guess I was expecting iOS9 to be a major change I guess, so far just the keyboard is different and the home screen app switcher/app kill screen is much better but other from that, what am I missing?

Also, If I remember correctly, of I install this on my iPad Air 2 it gives us split screen as well? I know it will only work on the iPad 2 Air for that feautre if thats on the beta?

Let me know if third party keyboards have improved stability.

Yes, split screen is only on the Air 2, however it currently only works with the built-in apps till Apple allows the submission of iOS 9 supported apps which will likely occur in September when the GM is released.

Does iCloud backup work for anyone? If it does, iCloud will ban you from downgrading with any iOS 8 backups.

No battery issues on my 6+. Stand-by 17h 34m, usage 3h 35m, 75% remaining. It is better than on iOS8 for me.
