installing iTunes on standard account

Alright, on my eMac all the accounts are standard and I need to get iTunes 7.6. it won't let me upgrade my newly bought iPod touch with the new software. So, is their anyway to get passed the authentication system to upgrade my iTunes?

Why don't you have install access? Or more importantly, why are you denied administrator privileges?

I have no idea, they just happen to be all standard. :S so.. their is no way to install?
