Dear Forum,

I like the LTE exclusive watch faces on the Series 3. Can I install a LTE watch profile on my series 2, or is that a stupid idea and I will brick my watch? Thanks a lot.

There’s no such thing as an LTE watch profile. The only profile that exists is the WatchOS developer profile. This profile grants you access to beta builds of WatchOS. Since watch OS 4 has already been released this would be of little use to you. Also the OS knows the model of the watch so it installs only the features that your watch supports.

Sorry, there’s no way to get the explorer watch face, I’m assuming that’s the one you’re referring to.

Thanks a lot for your quick reply. It‘s indeed the Explorer face I really like. I saw on a website two different 4.0 built numbers. One for the LTE watch 15R610 and one for series 2 15R372.

I thought by installing the LTE profile I could get at least the watch face. Thanks again.
