Installing Mac OS X Lion

Hello people.

- I was just wondering, can anybody give me just a qucik step-by-step tutorial on how to make a clean install of Lion, when it gets released?

I have a harddrive, to back everything up before I start.
I know that there is a "upgrade" installation and a "clean" installation. I bascially wan't my computer totally clean with Lion on it.

So how do I do that? And what do I need to buy? (which version of the cd or someting)Btw, I have snow leopard installed on it.

It has not yet been stated on which format Lion will be released. Personally I think it will be both DVD and through the App Store.

All you would need to do is insert the DVD and boot your mac holding the 'C' key. Once you are in the installer, select disk utility from the menu to partition and format you drive and install.

Well you will need to get the disc (burn it) or buy it when released.
You could also restore the dmg onto a USB via the disk utility making that essentially a bootable drive as well.

After booting from whatever media you use, go to disk utility, and format the HD.

like so, but it won't be greyed out.

Then just install and that's it. Really simple stuff, it's shocking to me local third party Apple repair places charge $200 for a reinstall of OS X. Takes about 40 minutes, and 5 minutes of you actually doing something.
