Hi, I decided to do a clean wipe of my HD and clean install ML from recovery. Long story short, I screwed up. Now it says here 60h of download time.

Here's my question, right now in the middle of the download the screen occassionally goes to sleep. Since I'm present I'm always able to wake it up.

If I leave my mac long enough, will it go to sleep mode and stop the download altogether? I'm worried about this as I'm planning to leave it downloading overnight.

Thanks for you replies.

I have not had this experience myself, but just from other user reports here the screen blanks out but the machine will stay awake and keep downloading.

It won't truly go to sleep when downloading something like that. The screen may go to sleep, but the computer won't.

As for a clean install from Recovery Mode. I did the same and had no problems. Upgraded>rebooted in Recovery>Erased Mac HD in Disk Utility>Reinstalled ML fresh and clean:p
