Installing ML On Macs With Different AppleID's

As the title suggests, I'm wondering how to go about installing OS X 10.8 on Macs with different AppleIDs. I am planning on letting my brother use an old MBP of mine, but I want to make sure it's updated before I hand it over. If I install ML using my AppleID (which was the account that paid for ML) and my brother changes the AppleID on the computer to his own, will he still receive software updates for ML as they appear down the road?

Yes. If he ever would need to use Internet Software Recovery to reinstall, he'd need your ID if he didn't buy it himself.
