I downloaded Pencil (I saw someone mention it in another thread) and I can't seem to install it. I downloaded the binary and source code for Mac and put them all in a new folder I made. I try and open the binary one and it says:

"Unable to unarchive "pencil-0.4.2b-mac.tar" into "pencil-0.4.2b-mac-src".
(Error 2 - No such file or directorv.)

I put the .tar thing into the src folder.

I'm not very familiar with macs (this is my first macbook), so I'm pretty sure I'm just not doing something right.

Any help would be great, thanks!

You don't need the source, just the binary package will do. (You would only need the source if you wanted to compile your own custom version of the program.)

(assuming recent OS X) Just double-click on the pencilblahblah-mac.tgz file, and a pencilblablah folder should be created. Inside that folder is your app, ready to run (you can drag it to wherever you like, Applications or elsewhere).
