:mad: Now I know there has probly been threads like this, and many of you are going to tell me to google it (Which I Have) :mad: :eek: But I didnt find anything that explained it step by step. It had tons of **** i didnt know about.

Can someone give me step by step how to install themes i am to download of the internet. AKA not through Cydia. What I need, programs, patches and the like. :) Thankyou.
 
1. Read http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Filesystem_Hierarchy_Standard from top to bottom
2. Read http://www.saurik.com/id/9 from top to bottom
3. Read http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Secure_Shell from top to bottom
4. Jailbreak your iPhone (use google)
5. Install Winterboard and OpenSSH using Cydia
6. Download SFTP client like Filezilla
7. Use google and your brain to connect to your iPhone over wifi.
8. Use SFTP client to copy themes to /Library/Themes on your phone
9. Enable theme using Winterboard app.

Done.

How about it for a mac? OS X

Its not really any different on a Mac.

Here is the nutshell answer:

1. You MUST Jailbreak your phone.
2. Install Winterboard
3. Install a theme with Cydia to see how they are structured
4. Download the internet theme files to your computer
5. Put them in your Library/Themes folder either with a sFTP program like CyberDuck or a USB program like PhoneView. Make sure they match the Cydia themes structure and naming conventions.
6. Use WinterBoard to activate the new theme.
