Installing VMware Fusion on an external hard drive

hey guys,

i was wondering if this was possible? i basically want to install vmware fusion on my external hard drive (going to load centos from it). During the Fusion installation, i point it to my external hdd, i get this message.

Any ideas?

On external hard disk install only virtual machines not Fusion itself. I'm pretty sure that destination for vm's you can set in Fusion preferences.
