Installing Windows 7 onto Bootcamp Partition via USB External HDD?

Is it possible to install Windows 7 onto the Bootcamp partition on my MBA via a USB External HDD or is this only possible with the MBA superdrive that is sold by Apple?

If this is possible, please post steps on how to do this.

you first need to rip a windows 7 dvd into .iso format so you will need access to a computer with a cd/dvd drive.

Second, keep in mind that my guide asks you to format youe external media so i wouldnt use it on an external which i use frequently.
