Everything was flying. Then enter Xcode. Now my machine is crawling. Is there any way to fix this? An uninstall? (And yes, I am a developer and I looked on the ADC forums, to no avail.).

It has to be something else... As far as I know Xcode doesn't install anything that stays resident in memory while not running the actual Xcode app. Have you looked through console for anything out of the ordinary?

I run xcode beta, and I don't see obvious performance drop on you. I constantly open xcode just for convenient.

I am not a developer, just a beginner though.

Check the console and Activity Monitor, you might have a stuck process. I don't see any performance issues when I installed Xcode 7.

Hmmm. That's odd. I'm backtracking to see if I installed something around the same time. Thanks!
