recently an app has appeared on my iPad called installing. I can't delete it because it acts like a stock app without a x in the corner when I tap it . I first saw it and wondered what it was so tried opening it but it wouldn't open Any ideas would be grateful . My next action if I can't find an answer. Is to put it into iTunes and sync it then if it appears on my Mac I'm going to try to delete it from there but at the moment I don't want to do that in case I put something on my Mac that I don't know what it is. This is why I'm afraid to restore I case it comes b ack. Any help would be great

It may be an app that you attempted to download but the installation of it is hung up. Do you remember trying to download something but it didn't completely download or got hung up?

No this is my concern cos I can't remember so I've temporarily moved it to a separate folder with all my unwanted stuff

Go to manage your storage usage settings on the phone where all the apps get listed and you should be able to see this stuck app there and delete it from there.
