On my iPod Touch 6 the personal hotspots list is no longer present.

I have the following devices all on 9.3 beta 3: iPhone 6S, iPad Mini 4 AT&T and iPod Touch 6. The iPhone and iPad are all fine and can see each other as instant personal hotspots but the Touch lost the ability to do instant hotspot. It was sporadic while on beta 2 but now on beta 3 its completely broken.

I've tried the following: signed in and out of icloud on all devices, power cycle all devices, reset network settings, toggled bluetooth and wifi on and off.

Numbersync works, wifi calling on iPod Touch works, handoff works.

Anyone have any ideas?

Unless I'm misunderstanding you why would an iPod touch have the hotspot feature? It has no cellular radio.

iPod Touch lost it's ability to instantly hotspot with my iPhone and iPad. So now I have to manually switch on Personal Hotspot on either the iPhone or iPad then manually connect to it from the iPod Touch's wifi settings.
[doublepost=1455210907][/doublepost]I've done a little more looking and I think this issue may be tied to a bluetooth bug/problem.

I've lost the ability to air drop from other devices to the iPod Touch. I can see the iPod on my other devices to do Air Drop ONLY IF I'm on the bluetooth settings page on the iPod. As soon as I leave the bluetooth settings page on the iPod, it drops off the available air drop recipient list on the other devices.

My understanding is Instant Hotspot relies on bluetooth LE to talk to each other for authentication?

On the iPod, that list is no longer present. Img_2260

In order to connect to it I have to turn on Personal Hotspot on the iPad. Then it shows up in the general wifi connections. Img_2259

Reinstalled and restore didn't work. Going nuke route and setting up as new to see if the issue comes back. I'll restore to 9.2.1 then try 9.3 beta 3 after to see if this is a beta issue.

Works fine under 9.2.1

Air drop and Instant hotspots show up exactly as they should.

Updated as new iPod from 9.2.1 to 9.3 beta 3....

Instant hotspots are no longer listed and AirDrop no longer see the device unless I'm on the bluetooth settings menu screen.
