iPhone 6 - iOS 8.1
MacbookPro Retina - Yosemite

Before upgrading to Yosemite & iOS 8.1 I used the old tethering system " Personal Hotspot " with no problem.

Now I've upgraded we are supposed to have " Instant Hotspot ". Which not only
I can not get to work, but I can't use the old " Personal Hotspot ". :(:(

I can see the phone in the WiFi listing, but can't connect.

Can anyone help me get it going?

Thanks :)

I can connect to the Instant Hotspot after initial setup. However, when I try to bring the hotspot down, this is where the trouble starts. I tried doing that by either:

- Switching off bluetooth on the Phone

or

- Selecting another wifi network on the Mac

In both instances, the menu bar wifi dropdown remained stuck and I got a nice beach ball. I had to either kill SystemUIServer or logout to get rid of the beach ball.
