Instapaper Question

1--Instapaper--Having trouble understanding how I save web material to this program? Can anyone help me. Doesn't seem to be a way to save from Safari and not clear what I do to save from within Instapaper.

This is an interesting app. How are you guys using it? Meaning, what are it's advantages? You just don't have to be online, yea?

I can see it being good for flying; just download the page to read later, but what else?
