Hello. I wonder if anyone could direct me to a DIY guide for replacing the bottom case of my 15" 1.83GHz Macbook Pro?

For some reason there is no guide at http://ifixit.com -- they only have a guide for replacing the top case.

They do sell the part though, and list the difficulty of installing it as "very difficult," which surprised me. Is it really that difficult?

Thanks, any help appreciated :)

I've pulled apart an old 12" PB casing before to salvage the mobo for parts, and yeah, let me tell you, that is not fun or easy to do.

look for a macbook pro service manual, it should say on there how to do it.
